...in treating the person, not the diagnosis or label
...that one size fits one because every child is unique
...that early intervention and catching a speech or language challenge early in a child's life can increase the likelihood that the child will make significant improvements
...that everyone can make steady and significant progress in communication and it's up to me to make sure that happens

Areas of Practice
Free screenings for groups of children using subjective and objective measures in order to determine the need for a comprehensive evaluation.
A special area of my practice is the evaluation and ongoing treatment of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
I specialize in speech-language services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in the home or in child care centers.
Speech-Language therapy is based on a comprehensive assessment of speech sound production, receptive, expressive, and social language through clinical observation, standardized tests, and reports from parents, caregivers, and teachers.
Speech and Language Therapy
I offer individual therapy to address the needs of each client in order to improve and maintain maximum communication potential. Services can be provided at my office, your home, the child’s school, or online to clients living anywhere in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Rhode Island.
Child Advocacy and EDUCATIONAL CONSULTATION
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with additional training in elementary and special education and in educating and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I am uniquely qualified to advocate for children with special needs to assure they receive the services they need. I also am able to help classroom teachers and SPED staff provide tailored services to their special needs students by consulting with them and by providing professional development programs.
My reports are clear, free of jargon, and detailed and give clear suggestions to help each child make progress at home and at school. All tests results are portrayed graphically for ease of understanding by professionals as well as clients and families. The latest, most up-to-date versions of a wide range of tests are available.
